Where we work

Summit and Eagle counties are home ground, worked from a base in Silverthorne. We also take jobs in parts of Clear Creek, Park and Grand, depending on the size of the work. Here is what that means in practice for your property.

01 — Summit County

Summit County

Home ground. We are based in Silverthorne, which means Summit is where we can most often get to a job the same day.

Condo and townhome stock dominates here, much of it built before anyone was charging a car in the garage. That shapes the work: panels at capacity, HOA boards to satisfy before an EV charger goes in, and units that sit empty between guests. Heat tape, exterior conduit and seasonal vacancy are normal parts of the job rather than complications.

02 — Eagle County

Eagle County

Over Vail Pass and down the valley, from Vail and Beaver Creek out to Gypsum.

The mix shifts toward larger custom homes and resort commercial as you move up-valley, and toward year-round residential and light commercial as you head west past Edwards. Larger services, more exterior and landscape work, and more coordination with general contractors on remodels and buildouts.

03 — Beyond the core

Clear Creek, Park and Grand

We work parts of these three counties, but not everything and not always.

These are a longer drive from Silverthorne, so whether we can take a job depends on its size and what the schedule allows. A panel upgrade, a charger install or a new build is usually worth the trip. A single dead outlet often is not, and we would rather say that than quote you for it and disappoint you on timing.

Call and describe what you need. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right choice or whether you are better off with someone closer.

Permits

Who issues the permit

Whether you need one

That depends on the work, not the town. Panel upgrades, service changes, new circuits and EV charger installations generally require a permit. Swapping a fixture generally does not. We tell you which applies before quoting.

Which office issues it

That depends on where the property sits. Incorporated towns across these three counties commonly run their own building departments, while property outside town limits is permitted by the county. We confirm the authority for your address rather than assuming.

Who deals with it

We do. We pull the permit, coordinate the inspection, and itemise the fee separately on your quote rather than burying it in the labour line so you can see exactly what it cost.

Questions

About the area

Distance, travel and where the boundaries actually sit.

Do you charge more to come further out?

Travel is factored into the quote rather than added as a surprise line. Summit County is our base, so those jobs carry the least. Eagle County and anything further out is quoted with the drive included, which is why we ask for the address before pricing rather than after.

Can you get to Fairplay or Winter Park the same day?

Usually not, and we would rather say so than leave you waiting. Clear Creek, Park and Grand are a longer drive from our base, so that work gets scheduled rather than treated as same-day. Installations and planned projects suit it better than a single quick service call.

What if my town is not on the list?

Call and ask. The list covers where we work most, not a boundary we refuse to cross. We travel outside it for larger installs, and we will tell you honestly if the drive makes us the wrong choice for a small repair rather than quoting you for it anyway.

Do you work on properties in unincorporated county areas?

Yes. Plenty of our work sits outside town limits, on ranch property, at trailheads and on new build sites. The main practical difference is which office issues the permit, and we confirm that before quoting so it is priced correctly from the start.

Can you handle a property I have never seen in person?

Regularly. Owners buy remotely, inherit property, or manage a rental from another state. We can look at the job, photograph what we find, and quote from that before you commit to anything, then send photographs of the finished work.
